A happy life is the outcome of the good deeds of a man. It cannot be bought nor can it be sought and it is as simple as "Always be cheerful and your life will be a happy one." A happy life has to be earned . If one were to base one's dreams of a happy life on virtual principles and act like wise, such a life could easily be bestowed upon one.
Ever since the creation of man, shelter was found to be in-valuable. A man without a home, therefore may find life bitter. Thus a good home is one of the factors that constitutes a happy life. A man should have a good occupation to enjoy life. Education is another contributary factor in the field of a happy life, as it enables a man to distinguish right from wrong and to have a better understanding between him and his fellow men.
Contentment too, plays an important part in the life of a man. A man should be contented with what he has , for if he dreams of something higher instead of being content with his present position, he may be disappointed by it. Contented men often find life happy in spite of all short comings.
Health is equally important to a happy life. As Bernard Shaw has pointed out; it is not the possession of a man, may be money or jewels, that makes his life happy. Without good health life is not worth living. A healthy man, though there are some exceptions, is the man who finds life most happy.
Religion is also a basic factor that helps to create a happy life. It tells him which path to take and which to avoid, it guides him towards a virtuous and a happy life.
Freedom from bondage decides the true taste of life. All beings men and animals, birds and reptiles, do love freedom. Without freedom life is void. A caged bird would whistle melodiously when it is released from bondage, thus expressing its happiness on being free .
A happy life is essential to every human being. Without it a man feels extremely miserable ; his actions trouble him and his thoughts mislead him . He finds that every door is closed to him and eventually welcomes an end to his life as a solution.
